Overview: Block B of Ponderosa Manor apartments was completely reconstructed in 2019 after being destroyed by fire in 2018. The 27-unit apartment block was re-designed by Christine Ross Architects with timely structural design provided by Bolen Engineering. The original foundation walls required redesign and replacement due to fire damage. Due to the poor quality of foundation soils, the main floor concrete floor is a 6”-8” thick structural slab.
